My chain hits my chest

New collections aren’t just for clothes and shoes: jewellery has its seasons, its lookbooks and its novelties as well. And lately, I’ve had a hard time dealing with the strong feelings I get when I see what these three of my favourite brands are releasing on the market…

Let’s start with Nimzu, a Belgian brand created by Natasha Casteleyn. She uses gold and silver to make minimalistic jewellery, bringing an extra ‘nomad’ touch, an influence of her travels abroad. Natasha is about to give birth to her “baby number 2”, so the online shop is currently closed until november – that leaves us the time to take a look at her collection and… make choices!

Then, we have Adeline Affre, whom I already own some items of. And every season, I get the same feeling: I just love what she does.

Her thing: creating new classics. Her pieces are simple but not boring, sometimes they’re even pretty bold, with a rough and unapologetic look.

They’re perfect to wear with a basic outfit – that must be her frenchie-effortless-chic side: a cashmere sweater, slightly brush your hair, a touch of lipstick and Adeline’s final touch. And you’re good to go!

The third brand I wanted to talk to you about can’t seem to get old or irrelevant – and it feels like they’ve been here forever, because they used to be all bloggers could talk about. Most of you probably already know Fashionology !

Over the years, they kept getting better, finding their style a bit more with every collection, becoming a true reference for any bad gal who’s into modern silver jewellery. This season, I’m going crazy about their embellished hoops!
