J'ai 25 ans aujourd'hui! Et j'ai bien sûr fêté cela comme il se doit, bien entourée lors d'une fête tout simplement mémorable. Merci à tous ceux et celles qui étaient présents, c'était trop trop bien!

Turning 25 today! And of course I celebrated this like I should, threw an awesome party with all my friends and danced my ass off! Thanks to all the people who came, best bday ever!

Dès la frontière passée, j'ai été rattrappée par ma passion pour ce mets introuvable en Belgique appelé Double Whopper. Hmmmm, burger.

As soon as we had crossed the border, I had to get my hands on that delicious thing they call Double Whopper and that we don't have in Belgium. Hmmm, burger.

 

Une fois sur place, j'ai goûté une des meilleures pizzas de ma vie. Je vous en reparle dans un post dédié à la gastronomie berlinoise!

I had some more sophisticated food in Berlin, including one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I'll tell you more about that soon in a blogpost dedicated to eating in Berlin!

Coup de coeur pour la marque By Zoé lors des press days de Project Distribution. Des vêtements féminins mais faciles à vivre, avec toujours un détail qui tue, des coupes parfaites et des matières confortables.

Major crush on the brand By Zoé at Project Distribution's Press Days. I love that the clothes are feminine but in a very casual way, they always have some great details, perfect cuts and comfy fabrics.

 

Visite de mes amis liégeois chez moi, à Gand. Vous comprenez, maintenant, pourquoi je suis amoureuse de cette ville?

My friends from Liège came to visit me in Ghent! Do you understand now why I love this city so much? So pretty!

Du coup, c'était le moment idéal pour sortir mes Palladium Waterproof. Eh ben je ne sais pas ce que je ferais sans elles, c'est les pompes parfaites pour braver le froid et l'humidité (et les flaques de neige)!

Well anyway, I guess it was the perfect occasion to wear my Waterproof Palladium shoes. I really don't know what I would do without them, they're actually the perfect shoe to survive to this cold and wet weather!

 

Je suis passée jeter un oeil à la collection printemps-été de New Look et depuis, même si j'ai un peu de mal à me projeter, là, je compte les jours avant l'arrivée des beaux jours. Il y en a pour tous les styles et c'est franchement une des saisons les plus réussies pour la marque!

I passed by New Look's SS2013 presentation and oh my! I gotta say even if I really can't picture myself wearing those light, short clothes right now, I'm counting down the days to spring. In my opinion, it's one of their best collections yet, there's great stuff for all styles and they manage to keep the prices low, which is really important for me.

 

J'ai fait du lobbying à mon boulot et réussi à obtenir un sapin de Noël! Houraaa!!

I did some lobbying at work and managed to get a Christmas tree for the office! Hurrayyy!

 

Samedi dernier, j'ai assisté à The Blog Works, une journée dédiée aux blogueuses entre ateliers, rencontres et intervenants de luxe, avec entre autres l'adorable Susie "Bubble" Lau.

Last Saturday, I attended The Blog Works, a day for bloggers to meet and learn thanks to photo workshops and amazing speakers, such as the adorable Susie "Bubble" Lau.

J'ai enchaîné direct sur les MIA's, une soirée de remise de prix pour les musiciens flamands. L'attraction du jour: des auto-tamponneuses, en mode régressif jusqu'aux petites heures!

Then I directly headed to the MIA's, an award ceremony for flemish musicians. The attraction of the day: bumper cars by Vedett, back to childhood for a few hours!

 

Puis, lundi, j'ai reçu mes premiers cadeaux de Noël, de la part de S.Oliver et IKEA. Hip hip hip pour les adorables nanas de chez Oona! ♥

Then, on Monday, I received my first Christmas presents by S.Oliver and IKEA! Kudos to the girls from Oona, you rock! ♥

 

I Love Techno, c'est déjà dans moins de deux semaines et pour moi, c'est un rendez-vous inratable! La programmation de cette année me plaît particulièrement, entre Modeselektor dont je ne me lasserai jamais et Spankrock dont j'attends de voir le dernier album en live (enfin! après un an à l'écouter non stop!), pas le temps de s'ennuyer...

Pour l'occasion, la marque belge Komono dont je vous ai déjà parlé plusieurs fois a mis en vente une série de 5 montres - une par salle bien sûr! Plus qu'à choisir votre couleur ;)

Le 10 novembre, c'est aussi la deuxième édition des Redbull Elektropedia Awards! Une cérémonie qui récompense le meilleur de la musique électronique et du clubbing en Belgique, et c'est qu'il y a du niveau chez nous! Vous pouvez votez pour vos artistes, clubs, festivals, soirées préférés ici jusqu'au 5 novembre. Le petit plus, c'est qu'un tirage au sort parmi les votes désignera 5 gagnants qui recevront chacun 2 tickets VIP pour la cérémonie et 2 tickets VIP pour I Love Techno!

I Love Techno is in less than two weeks already and I am SO ready for it! The line up this year is incredibly cool (for my taste at least), I will never get tired of Modeselektor and I can't wait to see Spankrock's latest album live...been listening to it non-stop for over a year, so you'll definitely find me there!

To celebrate in style, the very cool (and also belgian!) brand Komono made a series of 5 watches - one for every room, of course! Now you just have to decide which color you prefer ;)

On November 10th, I'll also be attending the second edition of the Redbull Elektropedia Awards! This ceremony rewards the best of belgian electronic music and clubbing, which is a big deal because there is so much talent in our small, flat country! You can vote for your favourite artists, clubs, festivals, parties here until November 5. The cool thing is that 5 voters will be randomly chosen to win 2 VIP passes for the ceremony and for I Love Techno!

Le week-end dernier, nous fêtions un double anniversaire et Halloween entre amis, et comme vous le voyez le niveau des costumes et de la déco était très, très haut! Eh oui, on ne fait pas les choses à moitié ;)

Last Saturday, we celebrated a double-birthday and Halloween with a few friends. As you can see, the level of the decoration and of the costume was pretty good! When we do something, we like to do it well :)

 

L'autre jour j'ai croisé ceci dans la rue en partant travailler, et ça m'a donné une idée de DIY déco pour le jour où j'aurai le courage! J'aimerais bien essayer de transformer une chaise banale (mais en bois, pas une chaise de jardin) en boule à facettes, ça doit s'acheter des petits auto-collants miroir carrés non?

I spotted this on the street a few days ago and it gave me an awesome DIY idea (you know, for the day I find motivation)! I'd like to transform a random wooden chair (I would put so much effort in a plastic garden chair) into a discoball, any idea where I could find tiny square mirror stickers?

 

Alors que le jour J approche, la collection Maison Martin Margiela pour H&M est enfin dévoilée au complet! Je pense que je vais craquer sur le chemisier "circle" blanc, et vous? J'aime aussi beaucoup le jean, le sous-pull et le manteau...petite obsession pour l'oversize (sans blague), malheureusement complètement incompatible avec ma silhouette :(

Le lookbook et la liste complète des prix se trouve ici, étonnament pas mal de pièces restent très abordables je trouve, même si je suis un peu refroidie par le prix de certains autres articles, mais bon, c'est le jeu ma pov' Lucette!

Au fait si vous êtes trop impatientes (et riches), certaines pièces sont déjà en vente sur eBay...vraisemblablement certaines rédactrices et "célébrités" peu scrupuleuses ont profité qu'H&M leur ait accordé le privilège de shopper la collection en avant-première lors de l'event New-Yorkais ou leur ait carrément offert des pièces pour en faire un vrai petit business! 

The D-Day is coming, and the entire Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection is now completely known! I think I'll get the circle shirt, what are your plans? I also have a major crush on the jeans, the jumper and the coat...slightly obsessed with oversized (if you didn't notice) but sadly it is totally not compatible with my figure :(

The lookbook and the price list are available here! A lot of pieces are surprisingly "cheap" compared to what I was expecting, unfortunately a lot of them are also too expensive if you ask me. But hey, that's just my opinion :)

By the way, if you literally can't wait, some of the items are available on eBay already... obviously some editors/bloggers/socialites decided to take advantage of the privileged pre-shopping event that took place in New York a few days ago and are selling the content of their goodie bags and their exclusive buys... HA HA, business!

Ca y est, je me lance, après quelques années d'abstinence je suis de retour dans le game des boucles d'oreille! J'ai commandé celles-ci sur Asos, je les aime bien parce qu'elles sont discrètes et faciles à porter, je vous tiens au courant de la suite de mes aventures quand le paquet arrive à destination!

After a few years of abstinence, I'm back in the earring game! I ordered these on Asos because they're nice, discrete and easy to wear, but I'll tell you if I actually wear them when I get the package!
