Well, it’s been a while!
I have a million excuses, and they’re all very valid, but as I just realised: I don’t even need to use any of them… after all, this is my blog and I can do whatever I want 🙌🏻😁. So let’s just dig in, shall we?
You might have noticed on Snapchat or Instagram that I’ve recently bought new specs! After almost two years, let me tell you it wasn’t a luxury. Not that I didn’t like my old pair anymore, but when you need to wear glasses everyday, it’s nice to be able to change it up every now and then. You know, just a matter of not getting bored with your own face.
And since I was very satisfied with my previous experiences, I once again ordered these from Ace & Tate, whom I don’t even need to present anymore as their popularity has been increasing like crazy since I got my very first pair. They always have such cool models, they always bring something new and they’re so affordable – it’s really a revolution for us four-eyed beings (by the way, this blogpost is not at all sponsored, I’m just a very happy and faithful customer)! So anyway, after trying on 5 different pairs (using their Home Try-On service), I eventually picked the Wes frames, one of their most recent novelties, and kind of a big change when compared to all the other pairs I’ve worn up till now.
It took me a few days to get used to them, especially because of their color, which is way clearer and thus more subtle than my previous pair. And two weeks later, I’m so happy with my choice that I took time this weekend to do not one but two photoshoots to present them to you :)
These pictures are the first part of the series, and they are all about denim, which is one of my baddest fashion addictions. Luckily, all these shades of blue look amazingly perfect when paired with the retro color of my new frames, which is poetically called Gold Dust.
