During the Easter weekend, I went to chill in Amsterdam for 48 hours. Our programme: sunny walks in the Negen straatjes, shopping near the Dam (helllooooo Monki and H&M Home!), amazing pizza at La Perla, exploring small streets peppered with details, shop windows filled with curiosities, a great brunch in the middle of the Red Light District at De Bakkerswinkel, pictures of bikes, and of course, OF COURSE, a whopper menu. We were very, very lucky with the weather, and also very lucky to find an apartment available for one night on AirBnB a week before the deadline, with a very central location (in the Jordaan neighborhood) and well, um… a quite special host, which got us giggling the whole week-end. There’s nothing like an express-break 2 hours from home to come back with lots of good memories!
